upcoming trainings for clinicians
Gestalt Consultation Group
Are you interested in learning about how to use Gestalt Therapy in your practice as a clinician?
Please join Daniel Kelley-Petersen, M.A.Ed., LMHC, LPC, NCC for this ongoing, in-person consultation group.
Gestalt therapy is a humanistic, existential and process-oriented therapeutic approach. Gestalt therapy lays out a clear path toward more authentic and holistic functioning through differentiated contact with oneself and the world. This results in greater capacity for connection with both self and others. The gestalt approach is non-pathologizing and based on the assumption that humans innately move toward growth and regulation within all levels of their environment.
All providers interested in learning how to use contemporary gestalt therapy in their practice with clients are invited. Explore how a gestalt approach teaches you to identify and use your own unique internal reactions in the immediate moment to enhance the effectiveness of your personal therapeutic and interpersonal style. In this ongoing consultation group, you will explore core gestalt concepts through theory discussions, live demonstration and hands-on practice of gestalt therapy-based skills while learning from other members of the group.

Seattle Ongoing Gestalt Therapy Training Program - 2024 Dates coming soon
An integrative training workshop series approaching both Individual and Couples Therapy from a Gestalt Therapy perspective. This is a field theoretical, phenomenological, dialogic and process model.
The workshop series will include didactic theory presentations, discussions, observing the Trainers, and Group Leaders work live (a rare training opportunity) followed by discussions of the work plus optional “hands on” practice with live supervision of volunteer participants. The balance of how much Individual therapy and how much Couples therapy will be by consensus of the actual group members.
We will be offering Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced level lectures and groups, depending upon your knowledge of Gestalt Therapy. Scholarships and payment plans are available.
